    A. IIRC the GOP proposal takes about 40 years to balance the budget. It is disingenuous at best to call it “extreme”.
     
    B. If the Congressman has a problem with the proposed budget (and there are problems), I would imagine it would be best for the Congressman get with his fellow Democrats and craft their own counter proposal, no? It’s easy to critique something when you don’t offer your own alternative.
     
    And really though? What credibility does Congressman Cicilline have when it comes to budgeting and spending?

    What was his record on taxation in Providence where he was Mayor and Representative for about 20 years?  How about jobs?  Where did he lead Providence, relative to other cities in New England?
