Unless National Grid is cleaning the property out of the kindness of its heart, my guess is National Grid or a predecessor may have been responsible for the pollution in the first place. It then purchased the property to make sure it can control the clean up process, rather than have another entity buy it, clean it, and the sue National Grid for contribution/reimbursement.

“Hospital adjacent” is one of the nicest ways to describe that part of the Allens Ave., though “strip club adjacent” or “scrap heap adjacent” may be more accurate.

tough deal for pat conley…….he was a litttle ahead of his time and a few bucks short…and then the economy tanked.

always remember, banks throw money at you when you dont need it, and   take it away when you really need it.

    shame..good luck in future endeavors….
