I guess I’m helping to organize this a little bit — Lessig’s going to be at Brown University's List Art Center at 5PM next Friday, April 9. RSVPs here.

Lessig’s career has focused on internet/tech issues, and particularly on reforming copyright and patent laws, and co-founding Creative Commons. Now he’s with Change Congress, which is pushing for reform of campaign finance laws, and to fix the Citizens United decision.

Professor Lessig's talk will examine the repercussions of the Citizens United decision, particularly the prospect for Fair Elections legislation. The talk and discussion will be an great extension of the conversation about the implications of the Supreme Court's decision for our democracy.
