Tax Equity would imply that everyone pays the same rate but we know that is not their case. At least with the Buffett Rule they aren’t calling it tax equity although ‘Fair Share’ is a pretty subjective moniker. While I’m not a fan of Gordon Fox, his comment that it was too early to give up on the new tax rates effect on Rhode Island’s economy resonates true. Rhode Island’s economy tanked when the rate was at it’s high. What makes you think things will improve by raising it back up?

So, unless you think it would be fair, just and impartial for everyone to pay the same tax rate, Dog, I think your comment as posted wasn’t quite what you really meant.

It is a totally normal think that people feel so vulnerable when it comes to taxes, especially middle class which unfortunately suffers the most for most part. It is not fair for everyone to fall under the same tax rate, it is obvious. Different people make different amounts of money. To be honest, I guess I would want things to be fair, this is it. I want things to be stable. I do want people to get out of their credit cards and online loans debts. I am out of topic, I understand, but still…deep down inside I understand the striking ones.
