      Hehe. Must be nice to get paid by the taxpayers to offer worthless opinions on things all day.

      I think you’re confusing her for somebody who has an actual job description or duties or powers. As Robert Healey puts it, the job of the Lieutenant Governor is to serve in the place of the Governor in the event of death or incapacitation.

    How about this idea. Stop sending money via DOA contracts to vendors, municipal aide, etc. to pay employee health costs. Put state workers, municipal workers, and workers in state supported systems for MH, DD, Subs. Abuse Treatment, community health centers and long-term care into one group, eliminate benefits without evidence of efficacy and put out to bid for an accountable care organization with incentives to share savings for elimination of abuse, waste and fraud.
