It's all about the money for Zaccaria

Politicians say some crazy things sometimes, but right-wing republican candidate Mark Zaccaria let rip with this doozy on 10 New Conference with Bill Rappleye this morning:
Profit needs to be part of everything we do in an economically orientated society. Without that, why would you do that?
Trying to parse this out is already giving me a headache. An economically orientated society? What does that mean? Doesn’t every society have an economy? So is what Zaccaria really saying that the only motive that people have in society is profit? If I can’t make money of it there is no motive for doing it? Whatever it is?
I think that is exactly what he is saying. The radicalism of this statement, and the cynically view it has of motives of the people of
Is Zaccaria only running for office in the hopes of personally profitting from being a Congressman?

All I'm looking for is to make money to redistribute in the form of scholarships to needy kids. Maybe I wasn't begging hard enough or it wasn't enough of a profit for him to give some of his hard-begged money to something as benevolent as a scholarship fund.
