Ivette Luna to leave Ocean State Action

Following up on this post about Rachel Miller leaving Jobs with Justice, the state’s 2nd most dangerous woman is moving on.
Ivette Luna, long-time organizer for Ocean State Action will be leaving at the end of the week. She will be moving up to Boston shortly to work for newly elected progressive Boston City Councilor Felix Arroyo. Rhode Island loses another fantastic organizer.
There will be a thank you / farewell / good luck event next Thursday, December 17th from 5:30-7pm at the Cactus Grill, 800 Allens Ave. in Providence. Come out and celebrate all Ivette has done to make Rhode Island a better place.
