      Irony is subjective, of course, but I am finding it a bit difficult to tease out the source of the irony you see  in that statement, Mr. Gardner.  Are you trying to imply that those who favor marriage equality are themselves impeding the “unstoppable march to freedom” or is there some other source of the irony you see in the statement?

        As an equal rights supporter myself, I welcome the day when gays and lesbians are allowed to be as they say “as miserable as the rest of us” heterosexual married folk. The irony I found in that statement was that when the tables are turned and Same wants bigger government to do more of “X”, which frequently requires reducing someone else’s freedom first, he seemingly has no qualms with that.
