It is especially difficult to ensure that force is not used against those incapable of speaking for themselves. What methods will be used to give them a choice? Generally speaking, people with severe developmental disabilities, provided that they are not being abused, show a strong desire to stick to familiar routines and remain in a familiar environment. Change upsets them.

“No pressure,” said recovery activist Jonathan Goyer, “but as I’m sitting in the back of the room, there’s a good chance that as we all sat in here, that we just lost another life… and I don’t think we need to wait until next week, I think it needs to pass today.”

Over ten thousand government accounts have been identified as being associated with the Ashley Madison hack, and if early indications are to be believed, at least seven of the emails are associated with Rhode Island government departments.
