Those advocating for the bill’s passage cheered when McNamara called for the bill to be passed, and cheered again when the bill overwhelmingly passed.

Dr. David Savitzky, MD said that conversion therapy is a “harmful treatment and Rhode Island should not be putting up with this practice against our youth.”
