The Portsmouth RI Democratic Town Committee passed a resolution supporting the “Reproductive Health Care Act,” which prohibits the state from interfering in a woman’s reproductive decision-making or restricting medically recognized methods of contraception or abortion.

We need legislation to ensure access to reproductive rights, and those opposed to abortion for religious reasons know this. For those opposed to reproductive rights, this may be their best opportunity to strike.
