    That’s a new one — decreasing tax rates causes an increase in the unemployment rate? I’m sure that spike in the unemployment rate starting in 2008 had nothing to do with the overall economy. Pro-tip: correlation does not imply causation.

    I sincerely hope that the flat tax is repealed so that progressives can stop using it as a blanket excuse for everything wrong with the state. I do mean that from the bottom of my heart.

    Wasn’t unemployment in this state at an all time high or at least above 10 percent before the tax rate was reduced from 9.9 percent? How does that coincide with the ‘tax equity’ coalition theory?
