A fun time was had by all last night, even myself as a newbie to this little entourage. It was fun to meet some of my Facebook friends I’ve never met before, and to reinforce the fact that MSM community journalism (which I engage in as a reporter at the East Greenwich Pendulum) doesn’t have to be just about Chamber of Commerce events and home garden features. I look forward to being a part of Netroots, and hope I (and RIF contributor Thom Cahir) get to see many of you next month at the Providence Newspaper Guild Follies (it’s all a blur from the stage, but I’ve learned to embrace the schmoozefest aspect of the evening, too).
