Hey Bob, smart list, but I think you would have been good to include Brett Smiley in the first district. Brett’s personally hosting an event for planned parenthood in the coming weeks, does work for several progressive candidates and has been an unbelievable supporter of MERI. For what it’s worth….

Thanks for posting this list, most of these candidates do not have a lot of internet presence, so it gives me something to go on.
I’m also voting for Herb Weiss, a good guy, a good friend, and the one who gave me a heads-up about this election.
My usual polling place is not open for this election, the state website has a guide for where to vote.

As a progressive, I can vouch for Terri Cortvriend in CD1. She fought the local anti-tax crew during her time on the school committee here in Portsmouth, and is on our side on the issues. She’s also one of the few Portsmouth folks I saw at Occupy Providence. I’m voting for Terri, and hope you’ll consider her too. Number 4 on the ballot. Thanks for your consideration.
