    There is ZERO support for building the Clear River plant among environmental groups in RI. And it is obvious that if the gas plant gets built then Rhode Island has ZERO chance of reaching its clean energy goals or reducing its carbon emissions enough to meet the goals of the Resilient Rhode Island Act. In addition several studies have demonstrated that RI and New England do not need the gas. The Senator is sadly and dangerously selling out to the fossil fuel industries.
