"We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” - Elie Weisel

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor." - Desmond Tutu

"There comes a time when neutrality and laying low become dishonorable. If you’re not in revolt, you’re in cahoots. When this period and your name are mentioned, decades hence, your grandkids will look away in shame." - David Brooks

Appreciate that you covered this. (S)Invenergy has no scruples. And Raimondo is such a disappointment. Must say, she’s got that two-sides-of-the-coin argument down pat! Kinda like a certain high-profile, obsessive Tweeter we all know. Say it, contradict it, leave your “base” happy, leave thinkers shaking their heads. Always leave room for deniability or claims of being misinterpreted. Like the Oracle at Delphi; augers well, augers poorly. What you hear depends on what you want to hear.
