One response to “Marriage equality back on State House agenda”

Does MERI support President Obama?  President Obama DOES NOT support gay marriage, and we wouldn’t be clogging up over 40 state legislatures with marriage equality initiatives every year if Obama would lead.

Marriage equality advocates need to recognize that President Obama has not only denied civil liberties here; he is also consequently swamping our legislatures with civil rights issues instead of economic recovery.

This issue is hurting more than just the minorities; it’s hurting us all.

I hope that MERI will have the courage to not only denounce but discourage any support for President Obama.
