    Bob, thanks for the pictures.  I remember going to Dutch Island as on kid on a Bay Queen cruise and thinking it was the coolest  place in RI.

    It’s a beautiful corner of a small world. I’ve never been out to Dutch Island but I’ve looked at it from the Jamestown side many times.  Simply beautiful down there. Nice pictures!

    I have kayaked around Dutch Island for years- fishing and going ashore  for walks.  That ended I think in 2004 when the DEM started to enforce a no trespass rule.  Frequently boaters  would anchor up and camp there.  I do not know why DEM started enforcing the rule.  I found other places to go.  Hopefully the no trespassing rule has been relaxed.
