The Syrian Refugee Crisis: A report back from Greece and children’s toy, clothing and milk drive

The FANG Collective will host two events on Sunday at their new office space. There will be a toy, clothing and milk drive for Syrian children refugees throughout the day. The supplies will then be delivered to NuDay Syria, a New Hampshire based non-profit that ships supplies to refugee camps in Turkey, Syria and Lebanon. There will also be a talk by Heather Shepheard and Roger Benham, of Willimantic, CT about their experience of  travelling to the Greek island of Lesvos in February to work with CK Team Lesvos, a grassroots group meeting boats full of refugees and migrants crossing the straits from Turkey. The event is free and open to the public.

What: Supply drive for Syrian refugees and a talk delivered by two people with direct experience working with refugees in Greece.

Who: The event is hosted by the FANG Collective.

When: Sunday, April 24th, the supply drive will be from 2-8pm and the talk will be from 4-6pm
