At both scenes officers from the Cranston Police Department and the Rhode Island State Police kept a watchful eye on the entirely peaceful protesters.

Members of the Rhode Island Muslim community held a “Know Your Rights” event at Masjid Al-Kareem in South Providence on Sunday. Nearly 200 people turned out to hear about their civil and Constitutional rights from a panel of legal experts.

Over ten thousand government accounts have been identified as being associated with the Ashley Madison hack, and if early indications are to be believed, at least seven of the emails are associated with Rhode Island government departments.

Further investigation is warranted, the letter argued, because “the public deserves to know whether the improper actions so thoroughly documented in this report were, somewhat incredibly, the only such abuses to take place, or whether there were other unknown victims of these violations of the public trust.”
