"We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” - Elie Weisel

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor." - Desmond Tutu

"There comes a time when neutrality and laying low become dishonorable. If you’re not in revolt, you’re in cahoots. When this period and your name are mentioned, decades hence, your grandkids will look away in shame." - David Brooks

This article was a much needed breath of fresh air! Watching people clamor to buy these bracelets is like standing on the street while the emperor with no clothes marches by. The new age blessings that come with the bracelets are tantamount to me dancing with a chicken bone over my head then selling my art. Although much of what they do is repugnant, equally laughable is the manner in which this company is “selling” how the items were made as if it were anything other than gold and silver plating. There is no such thing as Rafaelian gold. She just named the process after herself with some absurd voodoo description laden with verbiage that sucks in the buyer into some false sense of durability. These items wear out even faster than other costume pieces. You tube is full of videos of desperate idiots trying to figure out how to clean their prized possession. One thought is to buy a replacement BANGLE directly from China for $1.50, but then where would the blessing be in that?
